10. EMI, Buy Now Pay Later & Financing Partners
When you choose to pay using an EMI plan or a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) / Pay Later facility at checkout, the following applies to your personal data:

Payment Processor: All EMI and Pay Later transactions are facilitated through our payment gateway partner. Your payment data is governed by the gateway provider's privacy policy. Chambber does not store your full card number, CVV, OTPs, or net banking credentials — these are handled exclusively within PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure.

Data Shared for Financing: To process an EMI or Pay Later application, our payment gateway and the underlying financial institution or lending entity may receive your name, registered phone number, email address, and transaction details. This is a standard requirement under RBI guidelines for regulated digital lending and payment processing.

Lending Partner Policies: The financial institution or lending partner facilitating your EMI or Pay Later plan operates under its own privacy policy and is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). We encourage you to review the privacy policy of your chosen financial institution for details on how they handle and retain your data.

Data Retention: Chambber retains only a tokenised reference to your payment transaction and order reference. We do not retain any raw financial account credentials. Your lender's data retention practices are governed by their own policies and applicable RBI regulations.

Cancellation & Refund Data: In the event of an order cancellation for a prepaid order (including EMI or Pay Later orders), we share the cancellation confirmation and refund amount with our payment gateway. The gateway then coordinates with your bank or lending partner to reverse the transaction. How your lender handles your account details post-refund is governed by their privacy policy.
